​Carrington Whigham is a digital content producer at NextGen America, where she translates the energy of student organizing into platform-native content that mobilizes young voters. She is a global media strategist, civic innovator, and storyteller committed to expanding access, amplifying voices, and shaping the future of digital engagement. Based in Dallas, Texas, she is the Co-Founder of Global Toast Int., a media and education organization redefining civic participation, global storytelling, and career pathways for the next generation of changemakers.

Carrington recently earned dual master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of Southern California, specializing in Global Communications and Digital Media with a focus on government and digital racialization. A proud graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU), she served as Student Body President and University Trustee, demonstrating early on her passion for leadership and advocacy.

Her political and digital expertise spans national and local campaigns, including serving as Battleground State Deputy Digital Director of Engagement for the Harris–Walz Campaign, Digital Director for the NYC Mayor’s race, and Digital Consultant for the Texas State Primaries. Carrington has also partnered with leading organizations, including the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, CBS Sports, Paramount, ESPN, AT&T, UT Southwestern Academic Medical Center, MOCEAN LA, and The Athena Advisors Global Consulting Firm.

Carrington partnered with the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania to lead a Social Media Management & Online Safety Workshop for emerging leaders, focused on digital literacy, civic engagement, and media responsibility.
